Adult Learning Tutors – Portuguese, Adult Education Service, Citywide
As a qualified and experienced tutor, you will be registering your
interest in joining our tutor pool for one or more of the following
subject/s.
Successful applicants will be notified of appropriate fixed-term
tutor vacancies as and when they arise. Day, evening and weekend classes
may be available.
We are recruiting tutors to teach classes planned for 2013.
Please state clearly the subject you are applying to teach on the job title of each submission form.
Previous applicants who have applied to join the tutor pool within the past 12 months need not apply.
The City is split in to three geographical areas;
East covering Sparkbrook, Acocks Green, Hall Green,
Springfield, South and North Yardley, Stechford, Sheldon, Hodge Hill,
Washwood Heath, Saltley, Lea Village, Alum Rock, Bordesley Green, Shard
End and Ward End.
North covering, Kingstanding, Erdington, Aston,
Perry Barr, Handsworth, Newtown, Small Heath, Great Barr, Sutton
Coldfield and Ladywood.
South covering Harborne, Bartley Green, Quinborne, Billesley, Rednal, Frankley, Northfield, Maypole, Moseley and Selly Oak.
As a qualified and experienced tutor, you will be registering your
interest on our talent pool to teach Portuguese courses across the City.
You must hold a full teaching qualification, English and Maths
qualifications at Level 2 and a relevant subject qualification at a
minimum of Level 3.
A Disclosure and Barring Service check (Formally known as a Criminal Records Bureau check) will be undertaken
Right to work in the UK documentation will be fully checked
for all applicants. All non UK and non EU applicants are required to
apply for a Certificate of Sponsorship from Birmingham City Council and
must be approved by the UK Border Agency (UKBA) before any employment
offer can be confirmed.
