Description: This coastal town is 30 miles from Hull, the UK’s 2017 City of Culture and 45 miles from the beautiful cathedral and university, city of Lincoln. We are looking for 15 Social Workers and some managers. Social Work posts require a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and ideally some applicants will have significant and directly matching experience. The jobs are in Children’s and Families Services for a Local Authority and are office-based, with the expectation that you travel around the district to carry out your work.
This may on occasion involve overnight stays. Your work would include “contact”; investigating referrals when there are concerns for the safety and wellbeing of children and young people; working with “Children in Need” and their families; Child Protection, where there are significant concerns about the safety and wellbeing; Looked After Children who are being taken into the care of the local authority and representing the local authority in court and meetings. Levels of deprivation and child poverty are high in the area.
HCPC registration required to be complete or in progress at time of interview.
